Little volcanoes: Young children's anger and happiness

Eliane Whitehouse and Warwick Pudney

Sometimes it is hard to know how to deal with children, especially when traditional forms of discipline such as smacking have fallen out of favour. This book looks at anger and other emotions in children and helps parents and caregivers to understand where children are coming from with their emotions - as well as providing ideas for how to encourage good behaviour. This book is a great source of ideas, particularly for the first time parent or a family where there are concerns about behaviour in children.
