Listening to Classical Music Online

Find out how to listen and download classical music from the internet at our free sessions held at the Central City library during NZ Music Month in May.

Enjoy one of our lunchtime music concerts then stay on for a 30 minute presentation and get an overview of the best ways to listen to music online. The talk will cover podcasts, streaming, online radio stations and online music resources at Auckland city libraries.

 

Saturday Sessions

Podcasts, Streaming, and Naxos

Saturday 17 May,

10.30am and 2.30pm

Level 1, Central City Library

A 60 minute practical hands on session. Participants will learn how to access the online Naxos music library with it’s 75,000 track collection, listen to podcasts from leading New Zealand orchestras, access the Radio New Zealand online broadcasts, and watch your favourite orchestras on YouTube.
