World Book Online is an electronic version of the encyclopedia. It’s a great starting point for school age students (perfect for those school assignment and homework questions!), or anyone wanting a quick overview of a topic before getting into more detail.

World Book Online offers different ways to find information. Click on the tabs at the top of the screen to see:

- Search - more search options plus browse by title and subject
- Atlas - maps that you can print
- Dictionary - search for a word definition
- Encyclopedia - browse through or choose from a list of most popular
- Explore New Zealand - links to articles all about New Zealand people and places
