Search tips
Subject search: the homepage gives you a menu of subject areas for searching - by geography and culture, history, literature, person or science and health.
Once you’ve picked an area you’ll get further options for narrowing down your search:
- by topic –usually by picking from lists
- by document type – you can restrict your search to ‘just magazines’ or ‘just plot summary’
Basic search: enter your search terms in the search box at the top of the screen to search by subject, keywords, or full-text.
