Auckland City Public Artworks contains images and information about the location, artist, material, and significance of public artworks within Auckland City boundaries. The works featured include those installed within public buildings as well as those in outdoor spaces.

The database was developed by the Community Planning Group of Auckland City.

Search tips

The database can be searched by keyword, type, location, and artist:

  • Put an * into the Any word box to see all images
  • Use a 'type' search to browse sculptures or fountains
  • Try 'Aotea Centre' as a location
  • Pick an artist's name from the wordwheel
