Book Lust, her 2003 best selling book, made Seattle librarian Nancy Pearl a rock star among readers. When the librarian action figure was modelled in her likeness, it only added to her popularity. Fittingly, it is the title she chose for her first book which expresses what for many of us is a crucial component of our reading experience: Now read this.
