How to renew items yourself:
Renew by phone: Call the automated telephone service on 09 307 7795
or
Renew online as follows:
1. Login to your account via 'My Info'
2. Scroll down to see items you have checked out
3. Select items you wish to renew by clicking in check boxes to left of item titles
4. Click 'renew' button
5. Check for red messages to right of item such as 'too many renewals' or 'too soon to renew' - see further information about these below

Note: The above options are not available for rental items.
Staff assistance
Staff members at the library circulation desk are able to renew items for you. However, please note that there is a fee of $1 per item for non-rental items.
Rental items
(DVDS, CDs, CD-ROMs, language courses, audio books, and What's HOT! items)
To renew a rental item either visit, or phone your local library and the staff will be happy to do this for you at no charge (rental charges still apply).
Rental items cannot be renewed via the online catalogue or automated telephone service.

Why do I get message 'too soon to renew'?
Items can only be renewed at these times:
- 7 days or less before the due date for: books, language courses, magazines and audio books
- 2 days or less before the due date for: DVDs, CDs, and CD-ROMs

Items can only be renewed once - see this list of loan and renewal periods.
How long are items renewed for?
Items are renewed from the date of renewal (NOT the date they were originally due).
