Your library membership card gives you access to Auckland City Libraries' extensive range of collections and services.
You need to bring your card with you each time you visit the library.
You will also need to have a PIN if you want to access your My Info account to:
- look at or change your personal details
- see what's out or renew
- place a request

Keep your card safe
Auckland City Libraries will take all reasonable steps to prevent any unauthorised use of your library card.
Please observe these handy tips for keeping your card safe:
- treat your card as you would a credit card. Keep it in a safe place, and do not give out your PIN.
- do not lend your card to others. Because you are responsible for all material issued on your card, and any charges that may be incurred, it is recommended that you do not lend it to others.
- if your card is lost, notify us as soon as possible. You can do this in person at any of the Auckland City Libraries, or telephone us on (09) 307 7784. Replacement cards cost $3.
