Choral sets are for use by choirs. All parts are identical and borrowers can select to borrow either the complete set or a portion of parts. Orchestral sets are for use by an orchestra. The set includes a part for the conductor and parts for the individual instruments of the orchestra.
Loan periodsChoral and orchestral sets are issued for 90 days.
Loan chargesOrchestral sets cost $20 for a 90 day loan period. There is no loan charge for choral sets.
RenewalsOne 28 day renewal is available for choral sets. Choral sets may be renewed for free if self-renewed, or for $1.00 per part if staff assisted. How to renew choral sets:To renew items yourself, either: or - call the automated telephone service 09 307 7795.
One 90 day renewal is available for orchestral sets at a cost of $20.00. Orchestral sets can no longer be renewed via the online catalogue or automated telephone service. To renew an orchestral set either visit or phone your local library and the staff will do this for you for no *charge (*rental charges still apply).
