Usual opening hours
All our community libraries are open during the following hours:
- Monday to Friday: 9am to 5.30pm
- Saturday: 10am to 4pm
Avondale, Blockhouse Bay, Epsom, Remuera are open until 6pm, Monday to Friday.
Mt Albert, Mt Roskill and Panmure are open until 7pm, Monday to Friday.
Blockhouse Bay, Mt Albert, Mt Roskill, Onehunga, Panmure, Remuera and St Heliers are open on Sunday from 12 - 4pm.
All libraries are closed on public (statutory) holidays.
Central City Library
Monday to Friday: 9am to 8pm
Saturday and Sunday: 10am to 4pm
Please note:
- the Exhibition room closes at 5pm Monday to Friday
- the Special Collections reading room is closed on Sundays.
