Class visits and library tours

Libraries are a dynamic and exciting place for students of all ages to visit. Please use our class visit form to contact us about a visit. All of our libraries are available for classes to visit.

With the support of professional staff, students are able to access information of all kinds to support their studies - or they can choose personal reading material to take away.

Library staff are able to work with teachers to create a programme that can support curriculum learning as much as possible, and/or provide access to good personal reading material.

We can cater for pre-school children by creating special storytimes around themes. We are here to help and will work with you to create an interactive programme for your students.

The library visits are not restricted to the physical library - we can  assist your students by introducing them to the virtual world through the platform of the Homework Machine section of our kids pages. For older students we can introduce them to the Study Links section of Teen Bytes. Your students can also be shown how to access loads of books reviews on our website.
