Special needs

Sometimes children are born with special needs.  They may be born with a genetic disorder like down syndrome, or they may have a condition like autism - but they are all special.


This section provides information about some of the resources that are available for parents and caregivers of children with special needs. There are books about various special needs, as well as links to organisations in New Zealand.
