Books for special situations

One of the most common questions we have from parents is that they need a picture book or fiction story on a certain topic for their child.

There are many reasons for wanting stories that deal with real life situations.  You may need stories that can help your child understand and cope with difficult situations such as death, or it may just be that you want to share stories with your child that are beyond the normal picture book or story.

We hope that you find the following books for special situation helpful.  If you would like further help, please contact your local library.
