User's guide to what's on the pages

Homework machine is all about making things easier for you.  We have looked at the topics that are commonly studied and tried to make sure that there are webpages that will help you with your questions.

Introduction

Sometimes you may want to browse homework machine looking for fun things to learn about, and some of the topics are more fun than homework.  Reading the introduction will help you figure out which topics are more fun to explore.

Saved catalogue searches

A librarian searches for books on the library online catalogue and then makes a link to that list.  This means that someone has done the searching for you and all you need to do is find the books that you want.  There are several different saved searches for each section.

Click on the dark blue links and go straight through to the search results.

Book reviews

There are some books that we think are pretty good for the topic.  The books are either really good, or are a little more fun to read.  Try some of these books if you can find them in your library.

Click on the blue title and go straight through to the online catalogue.

Related links

For each topic we look around the Internet to try and find websites that have good information.  The results of those searches are listed under related links on the right hand side of the screen.

Hopefully you will find these websites helpful.  Look for more resources on the Internet, but always remember to double and triple check what you find on the Internet - there are people out there who think it is really funny to tell lies and pass them off as the truth!
