A good resource for students about World War One.  There is information about the wars that led up to the Great War, and includes a simple index and glossary.

This is a text book style resource for older students who need to know lots of different information about World War One and the ANZACs.  There is an index, a glossary, and a handy timeline to help make the topic clearer.

 

War stories: True stories from the First and Second World Wars

Paul Dowswell

A resource for older students with mini-biographies of people from both of the World Wars.  There are also short pieces on events that were of importance for both wars, from Christmas truces to famous battles.  There is no index, but contents pages are well laid out.

 

Leaders of World War I

Stewart Ross

A resource for older students, this book contains information about the key figures during the war years.  There is a date list which explains the most important dates during the war years, and a detailed glossary helps with terms.  Navigation of the book is helped by a useful index.
