Book cover of Walt Disney's Cinderella, retold by Cynthia Rylant. Walt Disney’s Cinderella

Retold by Cynthia Rylant; pictures by Mary Blair.

The story of Cinderella is well known, and the classic Walt Disney movie is a firm family favourite.  The movie has been retold in this beautifully illustrated book.  This story is a more traditional retelling of Cinderella and shies away from using the mice and the birds as characters in the story.  Not too long, and not too short, this book is perfect for reading aloud as a bed time story.
