Kate Greenaway Medal

This medal is awarded annually by The Library Association for distinguished illustration in a book for children.  The award includes a gold medal and a set value of books to be donated to the library of the winers choice.

The award is named after Kate Greenaway who was popular during the nineteenth century for her illustrations and designs for children.

 

The 2005 winner (presented in 2006) is:Book cover of "Wolves".
