The Tom Fitzgibbon Award
This award is for the manuscript of a novel aimed at 7-13 year olds, by a previously unpublished author. The award includes assistance from Scholastic in preparing the novel for publication.
The award is open for submissions annually, but the award is only given if there is a manuscript of a suitable quality.

The Joy Cowley Award
This award is for a picture book manuscript for either very young, or older readers. The award includes editorial support from Joy Cowley, and an offer from Scholastic to publish the book.
The award is open for submissions annually, but the award is only given if there is a manuscript of a suitable quality.
