Auckland City Libraries provides public access to the internet through Akozone - library learning centres at all of our libraries. Internet access is part of the library's role in providing access to information, education and leisure opportunities for the whole community and to support lifelong learning.
What can I access?
AKOZONE computers use Webmarshal software to manage internet access. Webmarshal is used to:
- Restrict access to internet sites that are offensive - that is, containing pornographic or other offensive material; including language.
Sometimes Webmarshal may restrict access to a website that the library would expect to provide access to. If you find a website that seems blocked in error, please use our report a website error online form to let us know.
How much does it cost to use the internet?
Internet access is free.
