This site was produced to meet New Zealand E-Government Unit Web Guidelines (version 2.1, 11 December 2002), World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) priority 2 requirements, and "Bobby" v.4.0 (version 4 core).

You can increase the text size on a page by clicking on 'A' button located on the top left corner of the page below the Auckland City logo.

Alternatively select the following menu commands to increase the text size within your web browser generally:

view > text size > larger or increase

 

Access Keys

Access keys help you to navigate to commonly used pages in the site without needing to use a mouse or other pointing device. To activate an access key, hold down the ALT key (for PCs) or CONTROL key (for Apple Macintosh) plus the relevant access key shown below (at the same time).  For some browsers you may need to press enter to confirm your choice.

The available keyboard shortcuts are:

0 = Accessibility help page

1 = Home page

2 = Site map

3 = Search

4 = Open the Catalogue

5 = Find your subject

6 = Read and relax

7 = Explore your community

8 = Teach yourself skills

9 = Contact us

k = Kids
