New on the web - tutorial six

Print this page.
You can buy or request a service for just about anything you want on the internet by completing an online form. It is important to balance convenience and choice offered with a few cautionary steps to reduce the risk being ripped-off. Use the tab key to move the cursor to the next field and an asterix indicates that it is compulsory to enter information in this field.

About online security

It is important to consider online security. Read information available at cyberangels website and advice from the New Zealand government on safe passwords. We recommend that:
  • don’t use your real name for logins or usernames, instead create an alias that you can remember
  • use a different password for internet sites from your banking or credit card.

Things to do
