This virtual exhibition showcases the maps of the Symonds Street cemetery and should be used in conjunction with the
Symonds Street and St Stephens Cemetery records database.
From early pakeha settlement in Auckland until the end of 1909, Symonds Street cemetery was administered as five separate cemeteries with five separate boards of trustees. Now it is under the unitary control of Auckland City Council.
This resource includes maps for the following denominations:
- Wesleyan
- Anglican
- Jewish
- Presbyterian
- Roman Catholic
