What a New Zealander can’t fix with a bit of Number 8 wire isn’t worth fixing, so our cultural myth has it. We New Zealanders have a long and proud tradition of “can do” attitude.  In several areas of engineering we are world leaders; earthquake engineering and computer software engineering to name two.
