Looking for a piece of music? Look no further!
Auckland City Libraries holds a large collection of sheet music which is a major resource for the local musical community. It is widely used from the beginner to the professional musician, as well as chamber groups, choirs and orchestras.
Sheet music collection
Covering a broad range of styles from early music, to classical, jazz, and rock, the collection also has:
- song anthologies
- vocal scores for opera and musicals
- miniature scores and full scores
- instrumental tutors
- a strong New Zealand music collection, both print and manuscript.
Don't forget that there is also a wealth of music material located in our basement and you can request this material in advance of your visit.
