Alexander Turnbull Library. National Library of New Zealand. Te Puna Matauranga o Aotearoa. Music resources at the Alexander Turnbull Library form the most extensive music collection in New Zealand. The collection includes scores, books, magazines, CDs, LPs, 78rpm recordings, cylinders and videos.

Archives New Zealand. Te Whare Tohu Tuhituhinga o Aotearoa.

The national archives of New Zealand are charged with the preservation of official records which have significantly affected the development of New Zealand, the function of its government, and the lives and liberties of its citizens. The materials held take many forms including manuscripts, photographs, films, maps, tapes, plans, video recordings, books, paintings, drawings, and prints.

Creative New Zealand. The Arts Council of New Zealand Toi Aotearoa.

Creative New Zealand is a government organisation responsible for developing the arts in New Zealand. Established as a crown entity under the Arts Council of New Zealand Toi Aotearoa Act 1994, Creative New Zealand's funding comes from Government through Vote Arts, Culture and Heritage and the New Zealand Lottery Grants Board.

Ministry for Culture and Heritage. Te Manatu Taonga.

The Ministry for Culture and Heritage provides advice to the New Zealand government on culture and heritage matters. It assists government in its provision and management of cultural resources for the benefit of all New Zealanders, and undertakes a number of activities that support and promote the history and heritage of our country.

New Zealand Companies Office

A group of people or an organisation can apply for registration under the Incorporated Societies Act 1908. A wide range of groups and organisations apply for incorporation, including sports clubs, music and cultural groups and special interest organisations.

New Zealand Music Industry Commission

The New Zealand Music Commission is one of the Government funded arts agencies. The NZMIC is committed to growing New Zealand music business.

New Zealand On Air

NZ On Air's job is to promote and foster the development of New Zealand's culture on the airwaves by funding locally-made television programmes, public radio networks and access radio, and to promote New Zealand music by funding music videos and radio shows.

Radio New Zealand. Te Reo Irirangi o Aotearoa.

Radio New Zealand is the public broadcasting organisation serving listeners throughout New Zealand.
