Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB)

Citizen's Advice Bureau can give you information and advice about all sorts of problems or questions - all of which is free. Answers to many typical issues (such as legal, personal, housing and vehicles) have been put together in information sheets online.

Topics include:

  • court procedures for debt recovery
  • Disputes Tribunal
  • Disputes Tribunal appeals
  • Justices of the Peace
  • legal ages

Your local bureau can provide information and advice on a range of other subjects.


Community law centres

Also provide free legal advice and have 25 offices around the country.
