1. What Australian newspapers does Press Display hold?
Hint: Next to the search box at the top of the screen, click Select Title, then By Country and then Australia. The names of the papers available will be displayed.
2. What is the main headline on the current issue of the Sydney Morning Herald?
Hint: Following the instructions above, click on the newspaper’s title. An image of the front page will display.
3. Find all the latest gossip/news on Britney Spears.
Hint: Enter Britney Spears in the search box at the top. Then click search, then last three days.
4. Find articles on gift ideas from the current month.
Hint: Enter gift ideas in the search box, then search, selecting ‘this month’.
5. Limit the gift idea articles to ones published in Australia, New Zealand or the UK.
Hint: Use the advanced search options on the left side. Click select under “In Newspapers” and check the boxes for Australia, New Zealand and UK.
6. Select an article and email it to yourself.
Hint: When viewing a page, a control panel will appear at the bottom of the screen. Use the envelope icon to email an article, or use the printer icon to print a page. The controls can also be used to zoom in and out, change pages, or blog a page.
