An extensive range of topics is covered, giving local perspectives on current events, business, the arts and many other subjects. It provides access to abstracts and full-text articles from international, Australian and New Zealand magazines and newspapers including:
Architecture Australia, Australian Geographic, Australian PC User, Bulletin with Newsweek, Good Medicine Australia, Metro (NZ), Motor, Rugby League Week, The Age (Melbourne), The Dominion (Wellington), and The New Zealand Herald.
The database also contains more than 84,000 full-text biographies and an image collection of over 100,000 photos, maps and flags.
Search tips
- First try using a Basic search. You can limit or expand your results by clicking on the appropriate boxes.
- The Advanced search gives you more options and allows you to narrow your search to publication type.
- Try clicking on Images and then selecting historical photos. Enter 'APEC' in the Find box to view a photo taken at various APEC summits.
- Click on the Indexes tab to browse author, journal title, year of publication etc.
- Select Search tips and Database help for further search strategies.
