Search tips
There are two ways to search the poetry index: Quick Search and Advanced Search.
The navigation bar at the top of the bar provides links to search: specific subjects, biographies of poets, commentaries, history and criticism, poetry sources, glossary terms and audio content through the listening room.
Quick search
Searches can be filtered to show all poem citations in Granger's or to limit the search to only those poems that have the full text available online.
Quick search is limited to searches by poet or poem title. The search results are listed alphabetically.
Advanced search
The Advanced search allows searches that cover one or more index at the same time as well as searches that are refined by using Advanced Search Operators (AND, OR, and NOT).
Advanced search also gives you the option to search by words in the first line, last line or anywhere in the full text.
