New Zealand has a richly diverse architectural heritage which began with the early migrations from Polynesia. Most of the visible architecture today, however, dates from colonial times. Information on these buildings is available in a range of resources to be found from the menu on the left. Information on New Zealand's architecture can be found in both the general collections in all Auckland City Libraries and in the heritage collections at the Central Library.
