60s up movement: This is an organization for those interested in promoting the enjoyment of life for older people.

Care & Craft Centres Inc: These centres provide social interaction and an opportunity to learn a new handicraft.

Eons.com:  If you prefer to relax online, this is a great place - developed especially for boomers and beyond.

Lion's Club: The Lion's Club works to improve the quality of life in local communties and undertakes global projects, wherever there is a need.

Royal New Zealand Returned and Services' Association: The RSA is an organization for ex-servicemen and women and is committed to providing comradeship and community service throughout New Zealand.

Rotary Club:  The Rotary Club of New Zealand provides gatherings for retirees and semi-retirees interested in meeting likeminded people. The Rotary Club also sponsors PROBUS groups primarily but not exclusively for retired professional and business people.
