Celebrate Pasifika Story-telling

Celebrating Pasifika through our unique style of story-telling throughout March. Free events, everyone welcome.

Celebrate Pasifika at Central City Library

Wednesday 5 March, 4.30pm to 8pm

Second floor, Central City Library

4.30pm:  Welcome

Presentation of a collection of children's Pacific stories which involves St Josephs Otahuhu and St Josephs Grey Lynn. Entrants, friends and VIPs will read the stories and the finalists will be announced.

5.30pm:   Music performance from Kila Kokonut Krew Entertainment

5.55pm    Andrew Fiu - author of Purple Heart

6.20pm    Tulia Thompson - author of Josefa and the Vu

6.45pm    Rev Mua Strickson-Pua

7.10pm   Doug Poole - poet

7.30pm    Kila Kokonut Krew Entertainment

7.55pm    Serie Bradford - poet

8.00pm    Closing ceremony, followed by refreshments.
