New Zealand sites
Book-club - This site is for book club members to discuss what they are reading with other book clubs. Information on new releases in literary contemporary fiction genre and opinions / reviews of recent books. Check out the notice board for putting people who want to start or join a bookclub in touch with one another.
WEA book discussion scheme - This scheme began in 1973 and has extensive nation wide membership. Groups choose their books for the year from the BDS catalogue. Each member in the group receives a copy of the same book. The group discusses this book when they next meet. Titles include both fiction and non-fiction, and range from the classics through to recently published titles.
