Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm
Saturday 10am to 4pm

How to get to us:

By bus: 

All buses run to and from the scheduled ferry sailings from Matiatia, contact Fullers Ferry – or phone (local office) 372 8305.

By taxi

:

Several taxi companies operate on Waiheke Island, there is a taxi stand at the Matiatia Wharf.

Parking:

There is all-day parking available behind the library with a disabled parking space.

Walking:

The library is a comfortable 20 minute walk from Matiatia Wharf.

Library entrance:

The library’s main entrance is from Korora Road.  There is wheelchair access into the main entrance of the library.

Library facilities:

Public toilets:

There is no public toilet provided inside the library. There are public toilets on the upper level of the Artworks Complex.

Public telephone

:

There is no public telephone available in the library; however, there are two phone boxes located close to the library.
