Currently real operates two outlets - a standalone café in central Takapuna and a specialist in-house café operating within the Les Mills World of Fitness in the Auckland CBD. The appeal of real’s distinctive product and service offering has been very well received by a broad range of customers and particularly amongst the local business community. real's background In 2003, after little more than six months trading, real won the NZ Herald ‘Viva’ Award for Best Healthy Takeouts in Auckland and was also the overall winner of the Ultimate Gourmet Takeout Award for Auckland. Only a few months later, real was also successful in winning the prestigious New Zealand Retailer’s Association ‘Top Shop’ award for Best New Start-up Business 2003.
