The Oxford Dictionary Of National Biography has just been updated with entries on 211 men and women who died in 2004. This resource now tells the life stories of 56,430 individuals.

Our Health & Wellness Resource Center eResource has just been upgraded with a new look and better access to other information such as news and videos. There have also been many other changes through out the database including improvements to the printing, e-mailing and the viewing options available.

ChiltonLibrary.com, which has the Chilton automotive manuals online, has recently been updated to include more makes and models imported in to the United States. This update includes a larger ranges of Nissan, Kia, Mazda, Toyota and Subaru to name a few.

Proquest has announced that they have added 10 new titles to the Science, Technical & Medical family of products. Some of these new titles include American Journal of Occupational Therapy, Canadian Journal of Medical Laboratory Science, Canadian Journal of Music Therapy and Child & Adolescent Social Work Journal.

Oxford Reference Online

The Oxford Reference Online: Premium Collection has just been updated. There are now seven new Oxford titles and four new editions, with content ranging from English literature to environment and conservation. The new titles include world-class content from the worlds of art, literature, linguistics, astronomy, quotations, history, law, and conservation.
The seven new titles are The Oxford Companion to Black British History, The Oxford Dictionary of Amercian Art and Artists, A Dictionary of Law Enforcement, A Dictionary of Environment and Conservation, The Oxford Companion to the High Court of Australia, The Oxford Companion to Irish History, and The Oxford Companion to Scottish History.
The four new editions are The Concise Oxford Companion to English Literature, The Concise Oxford Dictionary of Linguistics, The Oxford Dictionary of Modern Quotations, and A Dictionary of Astronomy.

Soon the following Thompson Gale databases will be moved to the new Powersearch platform:
- Student Resource Centre
- Discovering Collection
- Opposing Viewpoints Resource Centre
- InfoTrac Onefile
The migration of these databases to the PowerSearch platform means they will be able to be cross-searched along with the Gale Virtual Reference Library.
