What’s new on the web are free tutorials created by Auckland City Libraries. They are designed to introduce you to some web 2.0 tools and help you navigate around our website. Web 2.0 is a term to describe new technologies or tools available on the internet that is changing the way in which we work. These web 2.0 tools operate more efficiently, are free and can introduce you to new networks.
You can complete What’s new on the web tutorials by yourself online or contact your local Auckland city library to book a free course with guidance from a librarian. The purpose of these tutorials is to:
- practise using some of the free web 2.0 tools available on the internet
- get familiar with the search tools on the library website
- introduce some library services that you may find useful.
