Parking: There are car parks located beside the library, including a disabled parking space.
Library entrance: The library's main entrance is from St Lukes Road. There is wheelchair access into the main entrance.

Library facilities
There are public toilets located in the library with wheelchair access and a baby's changing table. There is no public telephone in the library.
Community services
The Citizen’s Advice Bureau (C.A.B.) is located next to Mt Albert Library.
Work and Income New Zealand (WINZ) is located at Mt Albert Shops 2 and 3, 945A New North Road, Mt Albert.
