How to get to us
By bus : Use the Maxx website to plan your bus route (using the journey planner feature, enter the words “Avondale Library” in the appropriate suburb or landmark box).
By taxi : There is a taxi stand outside the Avondale shops on Great North Road.
Parking : There is a free carpark located behind the library with disabled parking spaces.
Library entrance : The library has two entrances. The main entrance is from Rosebank Road and a second entrance is accessible from the library's carpark. Both entrances have wheelchair access.

Community Centre: Avondale Community Centre is located next to the library at 99 Rosebank Road.
Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB): The CAB is located inside the Community Centre, next to the library (CAB provides a Justice of the Peace at selected times).
